Black as Death refers to the Bubonic Plague which struck the village of Eyam in 1665. The villagers are world-famous for locking down their village sacrificing themselves to save the surrounding villages from the plaque. This gin is made in batches of 50 in a pot still. The dark colour comes from infusing Butterfly Pea Flowers and Hibiscus Blossom for several weeks.
