You can make this croissant bake in advance and bake it just before you are ready to serve. Full of cheesy goodness this crowd pleaser is so tasty and easy to make.
Serves 4
Pre-heat the oven to 170°C (150°C Fan / 350°F / Gas Mark 4).
Tear the croissants in to quarters and arrange in an oven proof dish.
Add the butter and transfer to the oven for 10 minutes until crip and golden.
Add the olive oil to a frying pan and add the mushrooms, season well and using a garlic mincer, add the garlic and thyme.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a large Pyrex jug, add the cream, eggs, mustard and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour over the croissants and add the mushrooms and prosciutto.
Add grated, Vintage Gold Cheddar or Black Bob Cheddar to the dish and sprinkle a little of everything bagel mix.
Cover the dish with tinfoil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for a further ten minutes until croissants are golden on top.
