Our Elevated Mac & Cheese

This elevated mac and cheese is a delectable combination of The Cheshire Cheese Company Masala Cheese and Black Bob Cheddar Cheese however, you can use any combination you desire such as Old Hag and Vintage, Smokewood and El Gringo or any other of your favourite cheeses.

  1. Grate the Masala Cheese and Black Bob Cheddar Cheese and keep to one side.
  2. Add the milk to a large pan and bring to the boil, stirring constantly so the milk does not stick to the pan.
  3. Add the macaroni to the milk, stirring until cooked through.
  4. Next, gradually add the grated cheese until melted and soft.
  5. The Mac and Cheese can be served like this, or you can bake in the oven to elevate your dish further by Preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish. If desired, you can sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crispy crust. This step is optional but adds a nice texture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Once baked, or if you skip the baking step, serve your elevated mac and cheese hot. You can garnish it with any fresh herbs you have for a pop of colour and freshness.
