Sweetheart Cheesy Crumpets

A simple breakfast idea for your loved one this Valentine's Day, so easy and simple to make.

Serves 2

Ingredients

• 4 Crumpets
• 100g Black Bob Mature Cheddar Cheese
• A handful of fresh chives, chopped
• 2 tablespoons of Cheshire best butter

Method

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut each crumpet into a heart shape.

Toast the crumpet for 3-5 minutes until golden and crisp.

Spread the butter on the toasted crumpet.

Grate the Cheshire Cheese Company Black Bob Mature Cheddar Cheese and add two tablespoons of cheese per crumpet.

Grill for a further 3 – 5 minutes until the cheese is cooked and bubbling.

Allow to cool and garnish with freshly chopped chives.
